Team building in Szczecin with safety scenarios

A safety scenario gives colleagues different information. They need to communicate and choose a safer course together. This also includes employees who dislike sports contests.

Assign roles

One person speaks to a difficult customer, another observes and a third can request help. Switch roles after a short scene. The group sees what happens when information is withheld or one person tries to solve everything.

Discuss, do not rank

The instructor asks what the group noticed, when contact could have ended and how signals were shared. There is no winner. Everyone can identify one useful habit for work.

Different levels of participation

Tasks can be entirely conversational or include light movement. Observers join the discussion. Share headcount, department and venue to adapt a Szczecin session.

A scenario can reveal a communication gap

A receptionist notices a visitor’s behaviour changing but does not want to interrupt the conversation to call. A colleague nearby could help but does not know the signal. The group can devise a short message or method compatible with company procedures, then repeat the scenario. After the event, responsible staff can check whether it works in the real workplace. An exercise provides ideas, not an automatic policy change.
