Urban Extreme on 14 November: training on a Poznań tram

An aisle between seats changes how people move. There are passengers, handrails and doors that open at stops. These details are part of Urban Extreme, a workshop scheduled in Poznań on 14 November 2026.

Start by learning the exercise

The session starts in a training room. Participants meet their partners, learn the rules and walk through the exercise. If you have never done scenario training, this is the time to clarify your role and how to pause the exercise before boarding the tram.

Then the space changes

During the ride you notice details that are easy to miss in an empty room. Can people by the door hear someone further down the carriage? What happens to the available space when others stand nearby? The debrief compares the original plan with what actually felt possible on board.

What changes when the setting is a vehicle?

A narrow aisle, seats and other passengers can influence decisions as much as the other person’s behaviour. When discussing a scenario, consider where contact could be ended and how to let others know help is needed. Not every situation calls for a physical response; moving away early may matter more.
If you are travelling from Szczecin, check the organisational details on the Poznań Urban Extreme event page before booking transport. Plan around the confirmed schedule. Training in a public-transport setting helps participants notice the limits imposed by the space. Exercises follow the instructor’s briefing; they are not invitations to stage confrontations with ordinary passengers.

Travelling from Szczecin

When planning the journey, check the starting location on the event page. Participants begin indoors, so the tram stop is not the meeting point. Look for Urban Extreme in the WCSiB event calendar and confirm your workshop place before buying a train ticket.
